Postgraduate programmes

If you are keen to further your nursing career and want to undertake a postgraduate nursing programme, there are a number of courses you can apply for, such as registered nurse prescribing and nurse practitioner.
There are many postgraduate programmes but the Nursing Council accredits only those which lead to a change in your scope of practice, such as registered nurse prescribing and nurse practitioner.
Check out the list of educational institutions that are accredited by the Nursing Council for these programmes (see below).
While these institutions may have current Council accreditation, they may not always offer postgraduate nursing programmes on a regular basis.
We recommend that you contact the school you are considering studying with to confirm the programme delivery timetable.
