2023 Nominations for the election of the Nursing Council members are now closed

As confirmed by the Deputy Returning Officer, nominations for three nurse members to be elected to the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) Board closed at 5pm, Friday 30 June 2023.

Twenty nine (29) nominations were received for the three (3) positions available. The candidates are:

As there were more nominations received than positions available, an election will be required. Any nurse on the register of the NCNZ with a current annual practising certificate and a New Zealand residential address as at 5pm Friday 30 June 2023 is eligible to vote.

Nurses with a valid email address recorded with NCNZ will be emailed their voting details on Monday 24 July 2023. Nurses who do not have an email address recorded with NCNZ will be posted a voting credentials letter on Monday 24 July 2023, which will take between 3-5 days to be delivered.

Voting will close at 5pm, Friday 1 September 2023.
