2023 Nominations for the election of the Nursing Council members are now open

The Nursing Council of New Zealand (the Council) has contracted electionz.com Ltd, an independent election management company, to manage its 2023 board member election process.

Nominations are now being called for three nurse members to be elected by the nursing profession to the Nursing Council board. Elected members will serve for a period of three years.

The Deputy Returning Officer will send the election information to all enrolled and registered nurses, with a current annual practising certificate. This will be sent to your contact address (email or postal) recorded with the council. To ensure you stay informed about the election process, we encourage you to check and and update your contact details with the Council.

Nomination documentation must include a nomination declaration, biographical sketch, statement of voters, recent photo and duty to disclose form which is emailed to the Deputy Returning Officer at [email protected] before the close of nominations at 5pm on Friday 30 June 2023.

Nominations received after this time will not be accepted.
