International Nurses Day 2021

15 June 2021

Tēnā koutou katoa

On International Nurses Day we would like to thank nurses for their unique and collective contribution to the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand. The COVID 19 pandemic has clearly demonstrated the critical role of nurses’ resilience and their commitment in the face of a global health crisis to providing the best possible care for their communities in extremely challenging circumstances.

Stay safe, be proud of the care you provide and the difference you make every day. Please do take time during the day to celebrate your achievements and the contribution you as nurses are making to our current and future healthcare system.

Kia kaha, Ngā mihi nui
