Registration process under TTMR

In order to complete your online application, you must provide the following documents:

Passport:

A certified copy of your current passport which contains your personal details and a clear photograph of you.

Evidence of registration:

Evidence of current registration from AHPRA. You can provide an electronic copy of your registration details from the AHPRA website. This does not need to be certified.

Evidence of name change:

If you have used another name in formal or legal documents, you must supply a certified copy of evidence of a name change (for example, a marriage certificate).

Qualification leading to initial registration (if applicable):

If you registered initially in another country prior to registering in Australia, you must supply a certified copy of your initial nursing qualification.

Step 1: Upload your documents.

Step 2: Complete statutory declaration.

Step 3: Pay fee (NZD$340.00).

Allow 10 working days for application to be processed.

Once you are registered, you will be asked to apply for an Annual Practising Certificate. This entitles you to practise as a nurse in New Zealand. For further information, please click here.
